"Is my tomato garden doing well?" is a question about one plantation: its sprays, its pickings, what it cost. Famu can hand that whole record to an AI, either the assistant inside the app or the one you already use, and it sends only what you are allowed to see.

A summary of everything is not the same as the whole logbook of one thing.
Famu's assistant always sees a short summary of the whole farm: how many plantings, how many cattle, the alerts. That is enough for "how many cows do I have?" but not for "why did my second picking have so many rejects?" The answer to that is in one plantation's own harvest log.
So on a plantation, batch or animal, the assistant offers Add this plantation to the chat. One tap reads the record, a green chip shows it is attached, and the suggested questions change to be about it. It stays attached until you tap its × or start a new chat. Try it.
Exactly what the AI reads
The same record as the PDF report, as plain text, and filtered by who is asking.
The record goes as the same sections your Download report prints: the plantation's details, its harvests, what was applied, its growth stages, and its milestones. It begins with a note telling the AI how to read it, and that a missing part means "not recorded" or "not visible to you", never zero.
It is built from your view of the farm. If your role cannot see the books, the costs, sales and profit are left out, exactly as they are on your copy of the report. Switch the role below.

Your own account, your own chats. Famu just hands you the text.
Beside Download report is Use with AI. It can give the record to Famu's assistant, copy it, or save it as a small .md file that any AI chat reads well. The rules that keep it yours
Only what you can see
The record is read with your own permissions. A section your role cannot open in Famu is not in it, for the assistant or for your own AI.
Your farm only
A record belongs to one farm. Nobody can add another farm's plantation to their chat, because they cannot open it in the first place.
Notes are read, not obeyed
Anything typed in a log note goes to the AI marked as farm records. If a note looks like an instruction, the assistant is told to ignore it.
A new person starts clean
Hand the phone to someone else, or switch farms, and the chat and the attached record are cleared. A worker never picks up the owner's conversation.
Famu does not keep the record
The attached record goes with each question in that chat and is not stored with it. Famu's log of the assistant keeps your question and its answer, as it always has.
Who can do what
Anyone who can use the assistant can add a record to the chat. Use with AI follows the report: by default an admin and a manager, not a worker.
A helper, not a vet or an agronomist
What it does not do
AI answers can be wrong. It reads your record well, but check anything important, and call a vet or an extension officer about a sick animal or a diseased crop.
A very long record is shortened for the in-app chat: each table keeps its most recent rows and says how many it left out. The download keeps up to the most recent 100 rows of each log, like the PDF report.
Once you paste a record into your own AI, it is under that company's terms and your account there. Famu cannot take it back. To let your own AI look records up by itself instead of one paste at a time, connect it to Famu.
Earns its keep for
- "Summarise this season's tomatoes" before a meeting with a buyer or a bank
- A cow whose weight or milk has dropped, with her health log in view
- Farmers who already ask ChatGPT or Claude about their crops
Does little for
- Questions about the whole farm: the assistant already has its summary
