Start a planting before it is sown

Not in the ground yet? Save the planting without a date, record costs now, and add the sowing date when it happens.

1. Open Crops → Plantings and tap Add planting.
2. Under the date, tick “Sowing date not known yet — I’ll add it later”, then save.
3. Record expenses, labour and activities against it straight away.
4. Until it has a date the planting shows in amber with an alarm clock, and Home lists it under things that need attention.
5. When you sow, open the planting and tap Add sowing date. Day counts, the harvest estimate and milestones start from it.
