How worker payments count in your expenses
A worker's payment is one expense of its full amount. Buying them an item or paying out their savings is not a second one.
- A payment of 100,000 split into 60,000 cash, 15,000 kept as savings and 25,000 off an item is one expense of 100,000.
- Buying the item is not an expense on its own, and neither is paying the savings back out — the wage already counted that money.
- Book it the other way? In Settings → Farm, turn on Count items bought for workers as an expense, or Count savings paid out to workers as an expense.
- With either switch on, the wage leaves out that part, so the money is still counted once — on the purchase or the payout instead.
