Start a new batch

A batch is a group of birds that arrived together. Everything poultry — feed, deaths, weights, sales, profit — hangs off it.

1. Open Poultry → Batches and tap New batch.
2. Say whether they are broilers or layers, and how many arrived.
3. Enter the date they arrived and what you paid per chick.
4. Pick the pen they went into.
