Note which oil, filters and battery a machine takes

Engine oil 15W-40, hydraulic oil, an oil filter, a 12V battery: write it once so whoever services it buys the right one.

  1. Open Business → Assets & Equipment and open the machine.
  2. Under "Oils, filters & parts", tap Add.
  3. Choose what it is (engine oil, hydraulic oil, a filter, the battery…) and its grade. Common grades are listed; choose Other… to type the exact product or part number.
  4. Say how much it takes — 8 litres, 1 piece. The unit fills itself in for the kind you chose.
  5. Add one line for each oil and part. Workers can read the list, so the person sent to the shop knows exactly what to buy.
