Reuse a season’s milestones with a template

Sets of milestones counted in days from sowing, placement or birth, so nobody types the same five every season.

1. A template counts in days from the start: sowing or transplant for a planting, placement for a batch, birth for an animal.
2. Every farm starts with a few — maize, beans, broilers, layers, a dairy heifer and more. They are marked Starter.
3. Pick one when you create a planting or batch, or tap From template on its Milestones section later. Famu turns the days into dates.
4. Tap Save these as a template on a record to keep this season’s milestones for next time.
5. Open Settings → Milestone Templates to write a new one, change the days, or archive one you no longer use.
6. Change a planting’s start date or an animal’s date of birth and Famu offers to move its milestones the same number of days. Tap Move them or Leave them.
7. Only milestones that came from a template and are still to come move. One you typed a date for yourself stays put.
