Start a planting
A planting is one crop, in one place, in one season. Sprays, labour, harvest and profit all hang off it.
- Open Crops → Plantings and tap Add planting.
- Pick the crop and the variety.
- Say where it is and how big the piece is.
- Say how much you planted — 17 kg of maize, 450 seedlings, 4,000 cuttings.
- Enter the sowing or transplanting date — or, if it is not in the ground yet, tick “not known yet” and add the date later.
