Record a litter of puppies

Mated, due, whelped, weaned — and how many puppies came out of it.

1. Open Dogs → Litters.
2. Record the mating against the bitch; the due date fills in at 63 days.
3. When she whelps, enter how many were born alive and how many were not.
4. Record the weaning date and how many were weaned — puppies wean at 7 to 10 weeks.
5. Sell no puppy before about 8 weeks: it costs the puppy what it only learns from the litter.
